Jamaica of 2005

In 2005 , I took a vacation to Jamaica for the 2 months of my summer vacation . Wasn't your typical vacation to a foreign place , This is where I'm originally from . So , In Jamaica I went St.Catherine to my families house . During this vacation , I went from the capital to the rural area's . Within the rural area's , I seen alot of poverty which is a huge issue down there . But within the well managed places , We have beautiful views and beaches . With Jamaica , I could say they have the best beaches I've been to . Nicest blue water , and white sand . Could of been the tragedy of my life , tried to teach myself to swim during the beach trip and almost drowned . But with jamaica , the variety of creativity with food is amazing . Your normal dish would be turned into a "yardi" delight . Overall it was a nice experience , havent been there in years but when i choose to visit again . I expect it to be another great vacation .

Apple Bee's Neigborhood Grill Review

Apple Bee's on forest hills & 71st and continential , great service and good friendly environment . Went there with friends and "gal pal" , it was a good fun experience . Group of 7 and check only came out to 90+ dollars , burgers were good . nice and well done , bacon perfect with fresh lettuce . With some decent fries , burger lovers dream for under 20 dollars . Not sure of the actual meals but for burger and fries , my favorite choice besides johnny rockets . Not your average burger joint though , has a variety of meals . We had this strawberry slushy which i recommend to everyone , its wonderful .

Varsity Jackets

In 1980's Varsity letterman jackets became popular to the american teen , being that this year is the year of "sneaker clothing and sneaker head" obsession . Lately many brands have brung out varsity jackets , Stussy , Bathing ape "Bape" , Billionaire boys club . Ranging from 140-700 US dollars , which is a decent price for a clothing item now a days . so , from the school's of 1980's teens to the outerwear of teens of 2011

Frank Ocean " Christopher "Lonny" Breaux

Frank Ocean newest talent of 2011 , well from a mainstream stand point . He's written music for plenty of our media greats . But no number one hits , he's become one of my new favorite artists . He has a old feel and different sound to him . His song "novacane" has hit everyone by shock but from the music , Ive heard from him . That's just the beginning , his mixtape that he let out to the public "nostalgia,ULTRA." in my opinion is music genious . Its a blend of old r&b with new hip hop . Must hear . He's apart of a anti-mainstream group called "Odd Future" and their a bunch of talents who met off twitter . I must say they will have a future in music when they get their credit in the near future .

Los Angeles Lakers Swept

Disappointingly the Los Angeles Lakers was swept in the playoffs by the Dallas Mavericks , losing plenty of close games . Coach Phil Jackson made it public that he would retire after this season , ending his 11 championship ring career . With that void being left blank , the question is who will run the struggling Los Angeles Lakers in later months ? Being that Phil Jackson has run the show for so long , I don't think who ever is coming in can handle the responsibility of kobe bryant . Being that he is the franchise player and argueable the best basketball player since michael jordan . They've put it public that their looking for another piece which is dwight howard , but that would take alot of adjustment .

Follow up on Death Of Osama Bin Laden

New reports are in on how Osama Bin Laden was killed . U.S. helicopters approached a high-walled compound in Pakistan on a mission to capture or kill him . Along with four others inside the complex, and the U.S. forces departed with the slain AL Qaeda leader's body to fulfill a vow that came shortly after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States . They followed a lead with this home being the most secured property in that residence . From CNN sources , He used his wife as a human shield . This official also said that bin Laden was shot twice, once in the chest and once in the head. With his death , they buried him at sea . Following Islamic traditions .
