Ten firefighters were injured on Wednesday morning , during a blaze that broke out at 5a.m on the eight floor . The cause of the fire appears to be an extension cord in an apartment on the eighth floor. Michael McGuire former police officer was the most critically injured during this fire , but everyone should be okay in due time .

Among the most critically injured was 40-year-old Michael McGuire, a former Philadelphia police officer for 7 years who later became a firefighter. He is a 5-year veteran of the department. - CBS Philly
